Consultant
We started our adoption journey at the end of March 2012.  We knew that we would need as much help as possible so we chose to have Tracie Loux from Christian Adoption Consultants to be our friend and guide for the journey.

Grants
Not only did we need help with the process, but we also had to raise MOST of our funds.  I applied to every grant I could find.  Here are the grants that we have been blessed to receive:

Fund Raisers
We knew that we needed to do as much as we could to raise the money.  We had the following fund raisers:
1.  Garage Sales
2.  Softball Tournament-friends blessed us by putting this one on for us!
3.  Marathon Run-Our fifteen year old raised money by going to local businesses and houses to raise money for a 13 mile run he raced in for our adoption as well as the adoption of five other children.
4.  Worship Night/Silent Auction-Along with three other families we had a worship night as well as a huge silent auction.
